Fortem sponsored the Apprenticeship: Be Inspired event, hosted by Skills Made Easy. The event saw 727 students attend from 36 different schools / 6th form / colleges and 59 employers with over 250 apprenticeship vacancies.

The feedback from all involved (career advisors, students and employers) was very positive, with all of the employers and schools eager to return next year.

Alison Beal from BHP Chartered Accountants said "This was an excellent event which always translates into applications".

Rebecca Taylor from Winterhill School in Rotherham said "It is great for students to attend an event where they can find out and apply for actual apprenticeship vacancies rather than a room full of training providers, like many of the other events."

Rachel Crowder, School Placement Officer at Skills Made Easy said "On behalf of Skills Made Easy, I would like to extend a heart-felt thank you for both your support and commitment to making the Apprenticeships: Be inspired event 2017 so successful."

"It is our vision and passion to support young people who are interested in apprenticeships and helping them secure a position, enabling them to kick-start their career through an apprenticeship. Fortem’s generous contribution was vital to help make this a reality."
