Fortem is pleased to see the financial boost for the Warm Homes Plan initiative aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing fuel poverty, and making homes warmer and cheaper to heat.

The additional commitment to reduce fuel poverty through the Warm Homes Plan is welcomed, and we remain optimistic that this support will be delivered across both private and social housing.

A home is more than just bricks and mortar; it is the foundation of a healthy life. Investing in our homes is not only about roofs and windows, but also about measures that support residents to live with improved wellbeing and health, in safe homes.

Around half of social housing households live on less than £348 per week, so it is critical we look at how we can support warmer homes to reduce fuel bills.

At Fortem, Every Home Matters. Everyone deserves to live in a warm, healthy home. We are proud to work in social housing, the foundation of our caring society, and we welcome this funding announcement with enthusiasm for continued investment in these essential homes.
