We encourage job shadowing, secondments between departments for learning, and temporary placements to practice new skills. Mentors are also a key part of sponsoring employee's development journey and identifying and facilitating opportunities. The case studies above demonstrate how this has supported our employees with their career progression.

Growing our own

Key to our strategic plan is developing our own future talent. We promote internally wherever possible and have structured development plans in place to ensure our people are working towards their career aspirations.
