Whilst surveying a communal area on the Sheffield contract Jordan came across a property which had structural damage which caused the flooring to crack. Thanks to Asbestos Awareness training he had been on he was able to identify that the asbestos floor tiles were lifting and cracking causing loose pieces of tiles to be scattered across the floor. Immediately Jordan got out of the property and contacted Sheffield city council to report the issue and from this they were able to get someone out to remove the danger to the tenants.

Cyril witnessed a mobile phone theft; he intercepted the individual who had taken the phone and detained him until the police arrived on the scene and arrested the thief. He has since received an LPU Good Citizens award for his actions and was highly commended by the police and the victim for his swift action. Cyril did not make his actions known to others and it was only by chance his supervisor found out about the incident.
